Steven Gullotta What a wonderful, throwback electro-industrial album. The Prince cover is amazing and Helvete Inc. keeps things interesting. Full review on Brutal Resonance:

preciousken When you have a style based in noisy Skinny Puppy intensity it is a razor edge to smooth those edges without losing that rawness. That's what I feel from this record. It's intelligent, political, sensual, and angry in just the right measure. The cover of Prince's "Controversy" is a driving blend of sharp edges and crystal energy. I love hearing another layer on something I already love. Favorite track: If In The Event It Falls Apart.

flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) Always happy to share that rare industrial release that makes it my way these days. Killer aggro beats and synths FFO Skinny Puppy that really get me moving. Genophobia even has straight up “Dig It” vibes. youtu.be/WJvTnURJaPI

Genophobia 03:58
What holds you back. The fear ov knowing? What holds you back. The fear ov finding? Once in. Never out. In. Out. Once you're in. Why get out? In. Out. What keeps you in. Perverse exhilaration? What keeps you in. Libertine anguish? Entering new ground. Sacred and unhallowed. Entering new ground. Decadent and unfollowed. Once you're in why get out? In. Out. Once you're in why get out? In. Out.

All the world is leaving me today I'll sit alone and watch it fade away I knew this time would come, it's sad to say And now it all will turn to black from gray I've fed too many dogs with smiles and lies I've seen the sun crumble before my eyes I've felt resentment and hate changing me I'm nothing like the self I used to be What's left is just a hardened hollow shell But now I'm strong enough to bring you Hell

You will never make anything as substantial You will never be anything but coincidental You'll cull your failures in an attempt to seem pragmatic Watch as they tap into grandueir To reach such elevated heights that they reach to the heavens and poke holes through the veil Staring into light, into God himself and illustrate it in a way that is profound What seperates you from them? What makes you different? You're forever a mid emergent halfling. Your suffering is that you know just enough to understand the difference. You know just enough to be better than the sub emergent but you'll never reach the state you know exists. There are colors beyond what you can see. You know they exist but can never experience them. Life is but a failure Your "art" is just a means to simply exist A slug foolishly thinking it might be a caterpillar. Thinking that it could ever hope to transform and ascend. You'll spend your life shrouding yourself in the heavy cloak ov your hideous creations. Adorning yourself with them and carrying them hoping people will see them and your ugliness can be hidden. Your world is forever black and white and ash. There may be art in your suffering existence that is great but not your doing. You're merely a piece And that fact is what finally kills you Death is the most beautiful thing you can do..the finishing touch to the ironic masterpiece You are not the artist but a pawn in His work. You are not the artist but a pawn in His work You are not the artist but a pawn in His work You are not the artist but a pawn in His work You are not the artist but a pawn in His work You will never be high art

Controversy 07:08
I just can't believe all the things people say (controversy) Am I black or white? Am I straight or gay? (controversy) Do I believe in god? Do I believe in me? I can't understand human curiosity (controversy) Was it good for U? Was I what U wanted me to be? (controversy) Do U get high? does your daddy cry? Do I believe in god? Do I believe in me? Some people wanna die so they can be free I said life is just a game, were all just the same Do U wanna play? Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever People call me rude, I wish we were all nude I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules People call me rude, I wish we were all nude I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules People call me rude, I wish we were all nude I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules
